Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

After nearly 30 years in private equity, David retired as the global co-head of investor relations for Apax Partners in 2023.  Apax is one of the largest and oldest private equity funds in the world with over $60 billion in committed capital to provide long-term equity financing to growth companies.  David spent 23 years at Apax where he led investments as a partner in the consumer group and later led fundraising and investor services in North and South America.

David is an honors graduate at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the Harvard Business School. He served as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army where he saw combat during Operation Just Cause in Panama in 1989.  David is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne, Ranger and Jungle Warfare Schools and completed the New York City Marathon and Triathlon. He is married and has four children - one son is a West Point graduate and serves on active duty in the U.S. Army, and a daughter is currently a cadet at West Point.  His wife Cynthia is the Co-founder of Fallen Patriots and serves as the volunteer Programs Director.
