Details: A keen outdoorsman, David Ricciardi incorporated many personal experiences into Warning Light. He's backpacked through the mountains of the western United States and Alaska, received extensive training from law-enforcement and US special operations personnel, and once woke up for a 2 AM watch aboard a sailboat only to discover that it was headed the wrong way through the Atlantic sea lanes in heavy weather, with one of the crew suffering from hypothermia. In addition to being an avid sailor, David is also a certified scuba rescue diver and a former ski instructor. Warning Light is his first novel.

Details: In remembrance of military members who have lost their lives while serving the United States, and in honor of the surviving families, PepsiCo North America Beverages launches their fourth annual “Rolling Remembrance,” relay. The relay will journey over 8,000 miles using normal business routes from Seattle, Washington to White Plains, New York. U.S. Military Veteran PepsiCo North America Beverages drivers will pass off a flag to one another at 50 different relay points to help spread awareness for Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots).

Details: Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation and the Atlanta Falcons have partnered together to offer Gold Star Students and a guest a Behind-The-Scenes NFL Experience. The day-long Atlanta Falcons Career Symposium will include: a tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium with lunch, on-field experience, training facility orientation, an interactive Q&A panel comprised of NFL staff members from a variety of professional backgrounds, and many more events! High school seniors, college students, and recent college graduates who have lost a parent in the line of duty are eligible to apply. Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation will provide up to $500 in travel reimbursement for the student's travel costs.

1st Annual Jared Tucker Memorial Softball Tournament

Dates: May 19, 2018 and May 20, 2018

Starting Time: 9am

Location: Heather Farm Softball Fields Walnut Creek, CA

Details: The First Annual Jared Tucker Softball Tournament is being held in honor of Jared Tucker who lost his life during the terrorist attack in Barcelona, Spain on August 17, 2017. Proceeds of the tournament will benefit both the Tucker family and the families of all fallen servicemen. Players of all levels are invited to take part in. Price of entry is $400 which includes a 3-game guarantee, free t-shirts, and raffle tickets for more prizes. In addition, the winners of the tournament will receive custom team jerseys.

Stars For Scholars Fundraiser to Support Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Start Date: July 2018

Event Location: Family Entertainment Centers Nationwide

Details: Stars for Scholars is a nationwide fundraiser benefiting Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.  When people donate, they write their name on a paper gold star for recognition of their contribution. More importantly, they are helping Gold Star children afford college through scholarships and educational counseling.
