"Mr. America" compeition comes to Rochester

Rochester, NY (WROC) - Some of America's most ripped men and women took the stage Saturday for the "Mr. America" competition.

Judges came from all over the country to support the oldest, most prestigious physique title on earth. The evening portion of the competition included posing finals for both women and men.

Mr. America promotes health, wellness and motivation. Saturday, the best in American fitness competed at East Ridge High School.

"It's a great goal to shoot for if you want to make physical improvement," attests former Mr. America, Frank Zane. "It's just really the most challenging goal because treating your body like a sculpture and shaping it is possible if you know how to do it, and that's the ultimate thing." 

Mr. America competitors raise money for the non-profit, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
