TRAGEDY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) provides comfort, care, and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.

At the Gary Sinise Foundation, we serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.

Since 2006, the mission of Snowball Express has been a simple, yet profoundly important one: Provide hope and new happy memories to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. They bring children together from all over the world for a four-day experience filled with fun activities, like sporting events, dances, amusement parks and more.

A Soldier's Child foundation

The mission of A Soldier's Child (ASC) is to serve the children of military personnel who have lost their lives on active duty while defending the United States of America. ASC has three points of service for the children of our fallen:

  • To celebrate each ASC recipient's birthday from one-year-old and up to the age of 18.

  • To sponsor ASC Journey Camp each summer for recipients between the ages of 9-16 and the PS23 Program designed for ASC young adults from 18 years of age and older.

  • To facilitate secondary/college scholarships for qualified ASC children through their partner organization, The Folded Flag Foundation.

Tuesday’s Children was founded to promote long-term healing in all those directly impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. Their mission today is to keep the promise to those children and families while serving and supporting communities affected by acts of terror worldwide.

The Mission of Freedom Alliance is to advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States, and promoting a strong national defense.

 

Folded Flag Foundation

The Folded Flag Foundation provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the U.S. military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.

 

Grateful nation montana

Grateful Nation Montana was formed for the specific purpose of facilitating college educations for the children of soldiers killed while on active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan. Grateful Nation currently focuses solely on providing these resources and support to Montana military families. They target both the financial and educational needs of these children.
