Since 1996, American citizens have identified March 4th as Hug a GI Day to honor and appreciate the services of the members in US military. In honor of Hug a GI Day, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, is collecting “virtual hugs” in the form of donations.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is moved to by the generous support of our partner Vineyard Vines. On February 15th, Vineyard Vines donated 10% of every purchase to Fallen Patriots, to ensure a future college education for Gold Star children.

Clairissa Herrera’s dad, Rocky Herrera, was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. Clairissa believes his sacrifice means that she gets to live another day in a free country, receive a great education and lead a successful life.
