Stars For Scholars Fundraiser to Support Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Details: Stars for Scholars is a nationwide fundraiser to benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation from July through September 2018. Over 50 Family Entertainment Centers, water parks, and amusement parks across the country are joining forces to help ensure a bright future for Gold Star children. When people donate, they write their name on a paper gold star to recognize their contribution in helping military kids who’ve lost a parent while serving our country. Stars for Scholars is inspired by Putt for the Fallen, a 3-year fundraising event which raised over $50,000 at miniature golf facilities for Fallen Patriots.
6th Annual “TK” Memorial Golf Tournament and Dinner

Details: The 6th Annual “TK” Memorial Golf Tournament and Dinner is an event to remember and honor Major Thomas “TK” Kennedy (KIA).
All proceeds from the event benefit the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
MINNESOTA BBQ AND GOLF FUNDRAISER

Details: The second annual Minnesota fundraiser for the Children of Fallen Patriots will take place on Friday, September 7 at Brookview Golf Course in Golden Valley, MN. The event will kick off with a BBQ at 12pm followed by activities including golf and lawn bowling. Ticket prices are $125 for golfers and $50 for non-golfers, and tickets can be purchased at the link below. Similar to last year, we will have a silent auction at the event to raise funds for the organization.
New York City RBC Race for the Kids

RBC Race for the Kids NYC is jam-packed with activities for people of all ages and fitness levels. Run along the waterfront in the 5K Race, test your strength and endurance in The MSK Challenge, or visit the Family Fun Zone for kids’ runs, an obstacle course, rock climbing, face painting, and more!
Race for the Kids is an exciting series of 15 charitable runs supporting children’s causes in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom and the United States. Increasing in popularity every year, RBC Race for the Kids events have attracted more than 161,901 participants to date, and raised over $30MM for children’s charities around the world. 10th Annual Greenwich Gala

Details: This evening of patriotic generosity honoring Gold Star families will be nothing short of spectacular. Patriot Award recipient, General Raymond A. Thomas, Commander of the United States Special Operations Command, will address the room followed by words from a Fallen Patriots scholarship recipient. The evening consists of: a cocktail hour, dinner, Fallen Patriots presentation, live auction, guest speakers and an unforgettable live appeal – the Fund-A-Scholarship. Supporters can see their donations at work contributing to tuition, books, computers and more. At 2017’s event, a record-breaking $3.3 million dollars was raised by the 600 attendees who selflessly served the families of those who died for our country.
PEDALING FOR PATTIE TO SUPPORT CHILDREN OF FALLEN PATRIOTS FOUNDATION

Details: A San Diego man is riding his bicycle over 3,000 miles across the United States. Ryan Lee Gehris is ‘Pedaling for Pattie’ and in honor of all the children of fallen patriots. His mom, Pattie Stein, lost her dad when she was just 14 years old. He was killed while serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. As a young boy, Ryan grew up hearing stories about his grandfather, Leon ‘Lee’ Charles Stein. Ever since, he’s been an advocate for Gold Star families. Now – he is riding his bicycle across America to ensure Gold Star Children receive a higher education.

Children of Fallen Patriots Day

This date shows appreciation for the young people whose lives were forever changed in support of their parents’ service to our country. Too often, this tremendous sacrifice is overlooked, which is why Children of Fallen Patriots Day was created to applaud their resilience and strength.
