Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Joins Board of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) - The Board of Advisors of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation names Mercedes-Benz USA President and CEO Stephen Cannon as its newest member. The mission of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who lost a parent in the line of duty. As a member of the board, Cannon will serve as a guardian of the mission and ensure that outreach for the foundation grows.
Cannon is president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA and started his career with the company in 1991. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and prior to joining Mercedes-Benz, Cannon served as a U.S. Army Ranger in Germany. Their recent partnership with Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation enables both organizations to reach even more military families.
"I am very pleased to join the board for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation,” said Cannon. “Educating children of fallen servicemen and women is an investment in our country's future, and it is a way to honor the sacrifice and service of their parents."
David Kim, founder and president of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation added, “We are delighted to welcome Steve to the board.
