Riverside, CT – On November 3, 2018, the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation will hold its 10th Annual Greenwich Gala at the Riverside Yacht Club in Riverside, Connecticut. The mission of Fallen Patriots is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
In 2017, the 600 attendees of the 9th Annual Greenwich Gala raised a record $3.3 million dollars for Fallen Patriots. In the words of Greenwich resident David Kim, who is the co-founder and CEO of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, “We believe that one of the best ways we can honor our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country is to invest in the future of those they loved most in the world - their children.” In addition, he notes, “a college education is the key to a bright future for any child and the generosity of our supporters is making those hopes and dreams come true.”
This special evening will feature remarks from our Patriot Award recipient, General Raymond A. Thomas, Commander of the United States Special Operations Command, as well as remarks from a Fallen Patriots scholarship recipient. Children of Fallen Patriots will also honor Ben and Hillary Carter, Greenwich residents and long-time supporters of CFP, with the Distinguished Service Award for their continued support of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, special remarks, a live auction and our unforgettable live Fund-A-Scholarship event, where supporters can see their donation at work contributing to tuition, books, computers, and more for our Fallen Patriots scholars.
Since its inception in 2002, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation has provided $22 million dollars in support for approximately 1,100 students. For more information, to support the gala, or make a donation to Fallen Patriots, please visit www.fallenpatriots.org or email email@example.com.
