Tuff Enuff Festival

The community of Paden, Mississippi joined together to kick off the first annual Tuff Enuff Festival benefiting Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The event was an exceptional success, raising $5,000 to better help surviving scholars dreams become a reality.

The festival began with an opening ceremony followed by a 23-mile race. Ian McCoy won the race with an impressive time of 5 hours and 18 minutes. Following the race the day was filled with a live band, silent auction, crafts and great food.

The idea for the Tuff Enuff Festival began with Gary Deatherage’s vision.

“I really appreciate what Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation does and am thankful for all veterans who have served,” stated Deatherage. “What I’m doing is just a small portion of what they deserve.”

Thank you to the Paden community and Gary Deatherage. Your commitment to our mission is inspiring!
