Frank Rewold

President and Executive Officer - Frank Rewold & Sons

Children of Fallen Patriots Michigan Board, Director

Widow of John Francis Dodge, of Dodge Motor Car Company, Matilda Dodge Wilson co-founded Oakland University on her 1,400-acre estate, Meadow Brook Farms. This is where she hired established carpenter Frank Rewold as her personal handyman. Decades of building, fixing, and problem solving pass as (first generation) Frank Rewold teaches his young apprentice and son, (second generation) Roy Rewold, tools of the trade. Roy later completed the construction of Sunset Terrace, a retirement home and guesthouse for Matilda. (Third generation) Frank began working in an entry-level position in his father’s construction company, Frank Rewold and Son Inc. and gradually climbed through the ranks to its present chief executive officer. Currently, the company is constructing multiple high-profile projects, including Oakland University’s Hillcrest Hall; a $70,000,000, state-of-the-art student housing facility, on the same campus his grandfather started the company 100 years ago. Having a vested interest in this community, Frank will continue his involvement improving the local area with volunteering his time and talent.
