Children of Fallen Patriots Michigan Board, Director

Mr. Lloyd Brown is the Owner and President of the Waltonen Group of Companies, which includes Waltonen Engineering, Geometric Solutions, Independence Tooling Solutions, and LB Property Management. Mr. Brown began his career with Waltonen as a Project Manager in 1985. With strong skills in leadership, management, and fiscal responsibility, he advanced into a partnership role in 1991. Because of his continued dedication and direction of growth, Mr. Brown moved into sole ownership in 1997. Born and raised in Warren, Michigan, Mr. Brown moved Waltonen’s headquarters to the current location in 1998 and began a path of both organic and acquisition growth to expand the services that Waltonen provides. This growth is reflected in the group of companies that Waltonen is today. Part of this organic growth is the support of the military with the design, engineering, and manufacturing for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and the Department of State. Waltonen’s commitment to the America Warfighter is evident in the work they have done with vehicle survivability, technology insertion, digital engineering, alternative power, and equipment sustainment. Mr. Brown served on the Warren Downtown Development Authority for many years as Chairman and was involved with the development of the City Hall, a new library, the growth of the Mound Road Corridor, and the building of the Warren Recreational facility. He also serves as the Chairman of the Detroit Athletic Club, Military Academy Fundraiser. He is an active member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), along with community leadership in business, charities, and civic development. Mr. Brown supports various charitable organizations, including the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan, the Selfridge Family Fund, Wounded Warriors, Special Operators Transition Foundation, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
