Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots) hosted its 11th Annual Greenwich Gala on November 2nd at Riverside Yacht Club. Children of Fallen Patriots raises money to help thousands of surviving military families navigate paying for college. The night raised over $2.97 million in support of these families, which provides 475 years of debt-free education for our scholars. At the event Fallen Patriots presented their Distinguished Service Award to Nancy & Tim Armstrong and Ellen & Rob Sweeney as a token of their appreciation for the couples’ unwavering support of the mission of Fallen Patriots. The organization also recognized the event co-chairs, Mary & Dick Pace and Angela & Vincent Tortorella, for hosting the event.
Fallen Patriots honors the sacrifices of our fallen military heroes by ensuring the success of their children through college education. Since 2002, Fallen Patriots has provided over $33 million in total assistance, including college scholarships and educational counseling to over 1,600 military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Nearly 20,000 children from across America will need future assistance.
