CONSPA Hosts the 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Support of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Jacksonville, FL – CONSPA hosted the 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds for surviving military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. The patriotic tournament took place on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Tradition Gold Club. A record-setting 110 golfers were in attendance and enjoyed lunch, dinner and a day of golf amongst friends.

The tournament was concluded with a speech from Fallen Patriots Co-Founder Cynthia Kim expressing our duty to honor the fallen by providing support for their children. Over 97% of those killed in action are men, leaving mothers, who earn on average less than $50,000 per year, with the financial responsibilities of raising a family.

Last year’s golf tournament raised $7,000 for children of the fallen. With an increase in golfers competing, this year is expected to provide more funds for college scholarships.

While incredibly generous, nearly 20,000 children from all across America are still in need of future assistance. Children of Fallen Patriots continues to work to honor those who are no longer with us by giving to those they left behind.
