Student Spotlight: Teague C.

Child of the Fallen

Teague C. became the man of the house at a young age. His father, Lieutenant Colonel Thomas C., was proud to serve his country and was willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice.

Teague believes his father would be proud that he kept pushing through his first year of college when his classes became difficult. He attends Oklahoma State University and is studying Mechanical Engineering.

With a mission to provide scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, Fallen Patriots continuously strives to ensure no surviving child is left behind.

“Fallen Patriots helped me by supplying a computer that was required for Mechanical Engineering,” explained Teague.

Teague plans on pursuing a career utilizing his degree by designing motorcycles or working as a mechanical engineer in a military facility.

Surviving scholars face an average cost gap of $25,000 for a four-year college education. Fallen Patriots is committed to closing the gap for Gold Star scholars, like Teague, so they can achieve their dreams.
