Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is overwhelmed with gratitude for its partners, corporations and individuals who continually give so much. On November 14, 2015, the 7th Annual Fallen Patriots Greenwich Event will take place at the Riverside Yacht Club in Riverside, Connecticut. Fallen Patriots’ signature event has raised millions of dollars for military families since its inception and each year, the event grows. Our generous supporters have donated live and silent auction items to help us raise more money that will, in turn, help us support more military families by providing children of fallen soldiers with college scholarships.
Kindly donated by The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain as a silent auction item, the one-year membership is good for one family. Each person in the immediate family will enjoy unlimited skiing, and 50 complimentary ski-passes for extended family and guests. If you’re a seasoned golfer or just looking to have a good time, unlimited golfing will be donated to immediate family, plus 10 complimentary rounds of golf for extended family. Members have the opportunity to part from the cold in the Hermitage Club’s new 80,000 square foot clubhouse that includes a restaurant and bar, private dining rooms, spa and fitness center, child care center, snow sports school, movie theatre, bowling alley and arcade. Other recreational activities on the grounds such as tubing, ice skating, fishing and water sports are also included for the immediate family.
Courtesy of Advanced Skills Training Institute, expertise will be tested with the Bullfrog 13 ultimate shooting experience in Sullivan County, NY. The live-auctioned package, for up to four people, includes half-day training with the longest serving US Navy Seal in American History, CAPT (R) Pete Wikul, also known as Bullfrog13. The experience includes shooting instruction, ammunition, a meal on site, and a few good stories from Bullfrog13, about his SEAL career. The title “Bullfrog” recognizes an individual who carries the largest amount of cumulative service once they have completed BUD/S Training. Weapons will include those provided by ASTI, your own personal weapons, and some from Bullfrog13’s personal collection.
Two of Americans favorite essentials, speed and luxury, are included in the live auction item K&N/Nascar VIP Race Package. Located at Sonoma Raceway, recipients of this prize package will be able to relax in luxury accommodations while being pampered and can enjoy wine tastings from more than 400 wineries located throughout Sonoma.
Jackson Hole Mountain is celebrating the beginning of its 50th Anniversary Season, with a donation of the ultimate Jackson Hole Experience. This live auction package is perfect for those who want to advance their techniques by skiing for 3 days with Olympic medalist and 5-time U.S. Champion, Tommy Moe, and big mountain skier Jess McMillan.
Another highlighted live auction item is for one of golf’s most celebrated resorts, Pinehurst, is contributing a golf weekend for four. The experience includes time to relax and enjoy southern hospitality, while golfing on Pinehurst #2, host of the 2014 U.S Open. Airline tickets for four will be provided, as well as two rooms at the Carolina resort hotel for three nights.
The Greenwich Gala brings together active duty heroes, surviving military family members who have lost the heroes closest to them and people from all walks of life who are compelled to support Fallen Patriot’s mission through this very special event. Without the generosity of partners, the event and continued support for children of fallen patriots wouldn’t be possible.
