Children of Fallen Patriots scholar Jordan E. is the daughter of U.S. Army Sergeant Daniel E., who passed away in 2008. When asked how friends and family would describe her dad, Jordan says, “In my eyes my dad was the good in the world. He was willing to give everything to someone in need. You always knew where he was because the room was filled with laughter. My dad had a love for learning and was always striving to be better. He is remembered as the man who supported OU and Notre Dame football, loved barbecue grilling, being the life of the party, but most of all was devoted to his family and country.”

Jordan graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Administration. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Notre Dame while working as a Scholarship Administrator at Children of Fallen Patriots.

Jordan explains the impact of receiving a scholarship from Children of Fallen Patriots has had on her. “Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation has impacted my life greatly. It allowed me to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with no debt. I was also able to attend several symposiums in NYC. As a current Scholarship Administrator, I am excited to learn and grow with the organization!”

There are approximately 25,000 children who have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. The vision of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to ensure that every such child receives all necessary college funding.
