Children of Fallen Patriots scholar Olivia S. is the daughter of U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 David S., who passed away in 2003. When asked how friends and family would describe her father, Olivia says, “Since I never knew my dad, as he was killed when I was 22 months old, all I know about my dad was what people tell me. I've heard so many good things, but what stands out is that he was all about his faith and family. He was by the book, a great flight instructor, and a good guy! ”

Olivia is a junior at Wake Forest University where she is studying Political International Affairs and African-American Studies. Olivia is extremely involved in extracurriculars, as she is the VP of Prayer for her school's International Justice Mission chapter and is a Student Leader for her church's college ministry. Olivia is also looking forward to interning at Virtu Financial this summer where she will work as a Legal and Compliance intern.

There are approximately 25,000 children who have lost an active-duty parent in the military over the receives all past 35 years. The vision of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to ensure that every such child necessary college funding.
